The following websites and organizations provide information on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).  Some of these centers provide free mediation services as well as information on how to file a case or find a mediator.

New York City Bar Association ADR Committee – This page describes the different types of dispute resolution and provides links to websites to address specific types of disputes, such as housing, consumer issues, Worker’s Compensation, and employment, among others.

New York Peace Institute (Manhattan and Brooklyn) – This is a Community Dispute Resolution Center serving the public in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Community Mediation Services (Queens) – This is a Community Dispute Resolution Center serving the public in Queens.

Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution, New York State Courts  – This is the official page of the NYS Unified Court System for mediation and other forms of ADR.

Dispute Resolution Center of John Jay College – This page provides a comprehensive list of mediation centers and dispute resolution resources in New York City.

New York State Dispute Resolution Association, Inc.  – This organization manages a number of specialized programs including the NYS Agricultural Mediation Program, Lemon Law Arbitration, the Special Education Mediation Program, and the ACCESS-Vocational Resources Mediation Program, among others.

Mediate.com – This website has a mediation blog and a database of mediators that are available for hire.
